About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and service ware to ensure a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
  • Maintain the dish area, equipment, and chemicals to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure all work areas and equipment are clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
  • Change dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sink as needed to maintain proper sanitation and hygiene standards.
  • Verify that all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to management.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to ensure seamless collaboration with kitchen staff.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
