About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products on our sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Operations: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
  • Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
