Pediatric Infectious Diseases Faculty Position at University of Rochester

The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a full-time academic faculty member at the Assistant Professor level, with a dual appointment in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division. The position will be 0.7 FTE in the Infectious Diseases Division and 0.3 FTE in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division.
Responsibilities- Clinical responsibilities include adult and pediatric Infectious Diseases consultation and teaching in inpatient and outpatient settings at Strong Memorial Hospital and UR Medicine affiliates.
- This could also include telemedicine for acute inpatient care at affiliate hospitals or other remote hospitals.
- Candidates must have completed fellowship training in Infectious Diseases.
- M.D. Degree or equivalent.
- Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date.
- Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
- Must meet all credentialing requirements.
- Eligible for Board Certification in Infectious Diseases.
- Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required.
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements.
