Key Responsibilities- Examine Patients and Collect Medical History: Conduct thorough examinations of patients, gather detailed medical histories, and document all relevant information in patient records.
- Make Diagnoses and Treatment Plans: Utilize your expertise to make accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans for headache patients.
- Perform Office Procedures: Administer toxin injections, perform nerve blocks, and conduct skin biopsies as needed.
- Read Diagnostic Tests and Reports: Interpret data from diagnostic tests and reports, and communicate findings to patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Prescribe Therapy or Medication: Work closely with physicians to prescribe medication or therapy as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Valid State Licensing: Possess a valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other medical staff.
- Medical Terminology and Charting Experience: Possess experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Utilize strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
