**Job Title:** Sustainability Specialist

\

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot.

\

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company adheres to environmental laws and regulations, while also implementing innovative strategies to reduce environmental impact.

\

This position requires a deep understanding of environmental science, engineering principles, and the ability to apply them to real-world challenges.

\

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.\
  • Develop, implement, and manage plans and programs related to waste management, air quality, water quality, and soil quality.\
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.\
  • Design and optimize systems for industrial wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and waste disposal.\
  • Prepare environmental impact statements and apply for necessary environmental permits.\
  • Oversee the implementation of the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan.\
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize the environmental impact of our operations.\
  • Provide technical support and guidance on environmental management and sustainability.\
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest environmental laws and regulations and ensure our company's practices align with these standards.\
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.\
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on industrial applications.\
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, including the SPCC and CCR Rule.\
  • Proven experience in environmental auditing, environmental impact assessment, and environmental permitting.\
  • Demonstrated ability to design and optimize systems for industrial wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and waste disposal.\
  • Proficiency in using environmental modeling software and other relevant tools.\
  • Commitment to sustainable practices and a passion for environmental conservation.\
  • $150,000 - $180,000 per year.\
