As a Senior Legal Associate, you will work closely with the US team and the global legal team to provide legal and strategic support in the complete life cycle of a project from origination to execution and delivery. You will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, and reviewing associated documentation, as well as providing BAU legal advice around property, employment, WHS, technology, and broader commercial matters.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating and drafting contracts with various stakeholders
  • Providing legal and strategic support to the US team and global legal team
  • Developing relationships with external counsel across the US region
  • Working closely with the General Counsel to enforce the compliance function for the US region
  • Advising on regulatory matters affecting the renewable energy space across the US region

We are looking for a commercially minded lawyer with 5+ years of experience in transactional and commercial contracting. You will have excellent communication skills, very good attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters and workstreams within tight timeframes.
