Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet members upon arrival.
- Engage proactively with members and potential members to identify their needs, directing them to the appropriate leadership when necessary.
- Address member inquiries and requests, utilizing problem-solving skills to enhance member satisfaction. Maintain accurate member profiles through data collection.
- Encourage and facilitate interactions among members.
- Ensure the front desk area and lobby are clean and organized.
- Provide detailed information regarding membership rates, programs, services, scholarships, and other amenities.
- Prepare member records, issue membership ID cards, and manage registration and enrollment processes.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to membership operations.
- Support the mission of the YMCA and assist with center operations as required.
- Report any health or safety hazards to maintenance staff promptly.
- Greet all visitors entering the facility and adhere to relevant policies regarding sign-in/out procedures and monitoring youth.
- Notify supervisors of any suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Multiple positions and shifts are available, with varying hours.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to quickly build rapport and trust.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and flexible work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
