Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet members upon arrival.
  • Engage proactively with members and potential members to identify their needs, directing them to the appropriate leadership when necessary.
  • Address member inquiries and requests, utilizing problem-solving skills to enhance member satisfaction. Maintain accurate member profiles through data collection.
  • Encourage and facilitate interactions among members.
  • Ensure the front desk area and lobby are clean and organized.
  • Provide detailed information regarding membership rates, programs, services, scholarships, and other amenities.
  • Prepare member records, issue membership ID cards, and manage registration and enrollment processes.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to membership operations.
  • Support the mission of the YMCA and assist with center operations as required.
  • Report any health or safety hazards to maintenance staff promptly.
  • Greet all visitors entering the facility and adhere to relevant policies regarding sign-in/out procedures and monitoring youth.
  • Notify supervisors of any suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Multiple positions and shifts are available, with varying hours.

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to quickly build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and flexible work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
