Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel facilities. This role involves supervising a team of room attendants and general cleaning staff, as well as inspecting guest rooms and areas to ensure compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of room attendants and general cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Inspect guest rooms and areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper to schedule staff and manage labor standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• At least six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
