Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy workflow, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
  • Responsible for customer experience, including greeting customers, resolving complaints, and providing excellent service.
  • Manage community outreach programs, including immunization clinics and community events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and customers.
  • Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings and communicate with pharmacy team members.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting required.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
