Optical Advisor

Job Summary:

The EyeCare Advisor plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and ensuring the highest quality optometric care at LensCrafters. This position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of current fashion trends, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Deliver the LensCrafters Experience by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all patients receive the highest quality optometric care.
• Integrate the Brand Story and execute the patient experience/behaviors seamlessly, linking the doctor and retail functions together.
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail, explaining all measurements and answering patient questions.
• Provide coaching and guidance to patients on the care and handling of contact lenses.
• Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory, providing clinical support to the Optometrist as needed.

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external)
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong communicator and listener
• Problem-solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators
• Organization skills
• Sales skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical
• Strong interpersonal skills
