Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate resident care needs and communicate effectively with physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
- Update medical charts accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Manage medication administration, including frequent audits of medication records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Order medications from the pharmacy and maintain records to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Ensure medications are properly stored and cared for to prevent errors and ensure resident safety.
- Monitor residents' health status and take prompt action to address concerns within the scope of your practice.
- Notify the Executive Director, Director of Wellness, physician, family, and pharmacist of significant changes to residents' condition and reactions to medication, treatments, and incidents.
- Maintain all health equipment in safe and proper working order to prevent accidents and ensure resident safety.
- Complete incident reports to evaluate the need for intervention to minimize risk of further occurrences.
- Read and decipher medications and charts accurately to ensure effective care.
- Supervise and evaluate the abilities of personal care team members to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
- RN or LVN/LPN with an unencumbered license to practice in the state of application.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a great attitude.
