Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize resource monitoring and control principles to ensure effective project execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering and field teams to assess production schedules and confirm the availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Review shop drawings, design specifications, and project data throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with quality and contract specifications.
  • Provide technical insights for project work plans and schedules, identifying potential risks that may impact budget or timelines.
  • Evaluate daily production metrics and budget forecasts to accurately track project performance.
  • Document daily activities using company-approved methods and technologies.
  • Update project schedules weekly for management reporting and participate in owner meetings to present project status.
  • Prepare and manage a three-week work plan, notifying relevant parties of significant schedule changes and proposing solutions to mitigate delays.
  • Initiate and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate project financial reporting by managing invoicing and project cost coding.
  • Support the engineering team with quality assurance and review necessary certificates and permits.
  • Participate in safety meetings and conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist the estimating team with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost parameters.
  • Coordinate subcontractor work methods and schedules as needed.
  • Conduct job close-out checklists with owner representatives and field crews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction engineering is required.
  • Familiarity with resource monitoring techniques and construction technology is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated or willing to become fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious accommodation.
