Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
1. Assist patients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
3. Administer prescribed medications and accurately document all medication interactions in the patient's records.
4. Ensure patient rooms are kept clean and organized.
5. Aid patients with mobility challenges, including the use of walkers or wheelchairs, and assist in positioning them comfortably.
6. Document all care provided to patients in a timely and precise manner.
7. Communicate any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team promptly.
8. Respond to patient requests and needs in a timely manner.
9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the healthcare team.

Qualifications for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
1. Current CNA certification is required.
2. High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
3. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

4. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

5. A compassionate and patient approach to care for diverse patient populations.
6. Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is preferred.
