Position Overview

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a qualified Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional respiratory care services in various clinical settings.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • State License Verification: Required
Job Details
  • CRT or RRT Accepted: Candidates with either certification are welcome.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • SICU Experience: 2 years required.
  • Licensing: Ohio RRT license must be held at the time of submission.
  • Scheduling: All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during the submission and interview process.
Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as an RRT.
  • 2 years of SICU experience.
  • Current Ohio RRT license is mandatory.

Unit Specific Information
  • Completion of a unit-specific competency exam is required.
  • A unit-specific skills checklist must be completed.
Additional Details
  • Must possess a valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
  • Specific departments may require additional certifications.
  • Current NBRC certification is necessary for CRT and RRT candidates.
  • Unit-specific competency exam must be completed within 12 months of starting.
  • TB test results are required to complete onboarding.
  • A pre-employment physical must be completed within a year of starting.
  • Fit Mask certification is required within 12 months of starting.
  • Negative 2 Step PPD or Quantiferon Gold TB test/T-Spot results are required within 6 months of starting.
  • A criminal background check is mandatory.
  • Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references are required.
  • Application must include a 3-year work history.
