Radio Frequency Technician

The Radio Frequency Technician will be responsible for testing, installation, repair, and maintenance of conventional and trunked two-way radio products, including analog and digital radio equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of RF circuitry, propagation, and troubleshooting, as well as experience with telecommunications equipment and programming radio equipment.

• Test and install two-way radio products, including mobile and portable radios, repeaters, and other equipment
• Repair and maintain radio equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
• Program radio equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Work with electronic drawings, schematics, and documentation to understand and troubleshoot equipment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of radio equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in electronics or RF communications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in RF electronics or telecommunications equipment maintenance
• FCC GROL License required within 180 days of employment
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
