The CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting a range of standard and advanced imaging procedures. This role requires proficiency in utilizing cutting-edge CT technology to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities- Conducts various routine and complex imaging procedures.
- Operates advanced CT machinery effectively.
- Demonstrates skill in initiating and managing intravenous (IV) access using high-speed, pressurized injection systems.
- Assesses patients for any clinical contrast history to identify potential contraindications.
- Supports Radiologists during invasive and biopsy procedures, utilizing CT imaging to accurately locate anatomical sites.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked prior to patient procedures.
- Adheres to Infection Control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Accurately codes and enters all charges related to imaging services.
- Adapts to the specific assessment, treatment, and care needs of each patient, considering their unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental requirements.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and protects sensitive information, disclosing details only as necessary for job performance.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Comfortable working in an emergency room environment.
- Experience with travel assignments is required.
- Possession of TX MRT Licensure.
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification is mandatory.
- BLS certification (AHA only) is required.
- Shift: 7 AM - 8:30 PM, Friday to Sunday.
- Duration: 12 weeks.
- Guaranteed hours: 39 hours per week, with overtime opportunities after 40 hours.
- Uniform: Black scrubs.
- Staffing Quantity: 2 positions available.
- Holidays: As per Ministry Policy.
