Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Imaging Systems Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of advanced imaging technologies such as CT, MR, and Cath Lab systems. Candidates with over 7 years of overall imaging experience are preferred. This role may evolve into a supervisory or management position for those with the appropriate qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct repairs, installations, maintenance, calibration, and inspections of various high-end diagnostic and therapeutic imaging systems.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment malfunctions and perform major repairs by replacing defective components.
- Utilize specialized knowledge to conduct system calibrations in specific areas of expertise.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clinical departments and address operator concerns effectively.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers regarding equipment servicing and company protocols.
- Participate in on-call services as per departmental policies and contractual obligations.
- Manage service delivery processes professionally, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and database management for service activities.
A Bachelor's degree in biomedical equipment technology, electronic equipment technology, or relevant military training is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Formal radiology training and certifications such as CBET or CRES are advantageous. A minimum of seven years of experience in servicing diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred.
