Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Senior Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Retail Accounting department, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving variances between CVS in-store and online sales and the settlement of various payment tenders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data and create journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
  • Research payment inquiries and verify the validity of customer disputes
  • Process remote check deposits and reconcile General Ledger balances against bank activity
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve payment discrepancies
Requirements
  • 1+ years of accounting/analytical/budgeting experience
  • High level organization, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis/troubleshooting
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Access, Excel, and ability to navigate through financial systems
  • SharePoint experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with upper-level management and external/internal groups
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Payment processing/settlement processing experience
  • Remote work and virtual collaboration experience
Education
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
