As a Load Builder/Forklift Operator at PARR, you will play a crucial role in supporting this mission by safely and efficiently building loads for our drivers to deliver.
Job DescriptionThe Load Builder/Forklift Operator primarily works outdoors in all weather conditions, responsible for building safe and efficient loads of building materials by correctly reading pick tickets and invoices. This involves loading and off-loading company trucks with building materials both by hand and with a forklift, as well as receiving delivered inventory by properly inspecting paperwork for accuracy and depositing inventory in designated locations.
This Full-Time position also includes receiving and stocking inventory, as well as assisting customer service employees in filling orders for walk-in customers when needed. The Load Builder directly reports to the Yard Manager and interacts daily with the Yard Inventory Specialist, Yard Supervisor, Customer Service Employees, Truck Drivers, and delivery persons.
