Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at HealthPRO Heritage. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing and directing speech therapy services to patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine and diagnose communicative deficits and equipment needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment programs based on initial evaluations and containing achievable functional goals.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain timely and accurate departmental records, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
  • Staff Supervision and Education: Instruct aides in appropriate procedures and provide supervision in accordance with applicable State law.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work with nursing staff, residents, and families to maximize residents' use of functional abilities and provide education on therapeutic procedures to be continued at home.
  • Quality Improvement and Compliance: Participate in quality improvement processes, respond to results of medical record audits and resident satisfaction surveys, and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Certification: Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Licensure: Must maintain valid state Speech Language Pathology licensure.
