At SmartStyle Hair Salon, we're looking for a talented and charismatic leader to join our team as a Salon Manager. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, leading by example, and creating a positive work environment that fosters success and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all salon operations, including staff supervision, client relations, and business development.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality hair care services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase client retention and drive business growth.
  • Coach and mentor staff to achieve their full potential and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new team members to ensure a strong and diverse team.

Requirements:

  • Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and driving sales growth.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including data entry and software management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Good eyesight to observe client hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and move around the salon, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
