Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant - Skilled Nursing

Compu-Vision Consulting is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team in a rehabilitation (skilled nursing) facility with a subacute (short-term) patient population.

Job Summary:
  • Deliver patient-centered nursing and rehabilitation services to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct resident care to ensure the resident's plan of care is followed.
  • Ensure the highest level of service to all patients, families, and visitors to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete all required documentation as per state/federal and facility guidelines.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide patient care, including ROM exercises, ambulation, transfer training, assisting with feeding and calorie counts, bed making, personal hygiene, skin checks, AM and HS care, vital signs, and post-mortem care.
  • Identify and report all real or potential problems regarding the administration of patient care.
  • Ensure residents are wearing/using adaptive equipment, as ordered.
  • Ensure patients are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shift hours.
  • Follow through on ordered restorative nursing for assigned patients.
  • Complete all required tasks, documentation, and reports daily as per facility policy and state and federal regulations.
  • Record intake and output and bowel movements.
  • Report any unusual changes in patient condition to Nurse promptly.
  • Communicate pertinent information and actual or potential problems to Nurse throughout shift.
  • Identify patient needs and treatment opportunities, providing services to meet those needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain professional competence and keep current with Occupational Health trends through participation in continuing education, in-service programs, professional staff sessions, and training of nursing personnel.
  • Foster good relationships and communications with all Team Members, patients, family/significant others, and visitors.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Certified Nurse Assistant with a permanent NJ CNA license and a minimum 2 years prior experience working as a CNA in an LTC (subacute skilled nursing) setting.
  • Must be willing to manage care for patients with various conditions, including COVID+ patients.
  • Must be willing to float throughout the facility as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior work experience with senior and disabled populations.
