Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Job Summary: Samba Care is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during prenatal visits, labor, and delivery.
  • Teach childbirth preparation classes to educate patients on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.
  • Monitor fetal heartbeat and contractions during labor, and provide guidance on pain management and breathing techniques.
  • Assist with complications during delivery, and administer medications as needed.
  • Perform tests on newborns after birth, and provide guidance on infant care and recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the United States.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a strong understanding of fetal monitoring and labor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
