MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing computer and information networks, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network infrastructure to meet business needs
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning to ensure optimal network performance
  • Design and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software
  • Provide support for monitoring, installing, and performing maintenance on personal computers, laptop computers, software, and networks
  • Provide support in responding to system user requests for assistance
  • Provide support for on-the-spot diagnostic evaluations, implementation of corrections, and training users in proper operation of systems and programs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or at minimum Information Technology (IT) Certification
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II (e.g. CompTIA Sec+)
  • Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance
