Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Nurse to join our team at Infojini Healthcare. As a Cardiac Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including those with heart failure, angina, and cardiac arrest.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a cardiac unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:
• This is a 12 week contract position with the possibility of extension.
• The shift is 7P-7A, 12 hours per week.
• The hospital is a 48 bed cardiac unit with telemetry monitored beds.
• The patient ratios are 1:5 for RNs and 1:8-10 for techs.
• The required certifications are BLS and ACLS for RNs and BLS for techs.
• The skills required include chest tubes, temp pacemakers, and cardiac drips.
• The hospital has a hospitalist on call 24/7 and a cardiologist on call at night.
• The tech to patient ratio is 1:8 day and 1:10 night.
• The charting is done on the cardiac unit's system.
• The hospital orientation is 1 shift on rotation and there is no call.
• The holiday expectations are no holiday RTO accepted at this time.
• The approval of time off is up to 6 days and must extend if requesting a full week off.
