Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care to clients, following their individualized plans of care and promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Monitor clients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to ensure timely interventions.
  • Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and other treatments as needed, and document the results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to complete routines and ensure infection control policies are maintained.
  • Accurately document nursing actions, communication, and progress towards established goals.
  • Order supplies, medications, and feedings as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure all client needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and monitor incidents involving individuals.
Qualifications:
  • Current license as an LPN in good standing from the state(s) of practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to work in a home-like setting and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, sitting, and walking for periods of time.
  • Knowledge of individual service plans and understanding of client rights and health needs.
