Phlebotomy Specialist

At Providence Health & Services, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA.
Job SummaryUnder the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Phlebotomist will perform a variety of functions related to specimen collection, processing, data entry, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using venous or capillary access
- Process and label specimens for laboratory testing
- Enter data into the laboratory information system
- Retrieve lab results for physicians or their representatives
- Manage confidential information and documents
- Sort and file reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal Phlebotomy Training Program
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
- National Medical Assistant Certification
- One year of customer service experience
- Healthcare experience
