Sodexo, a leading provider of quality of life solutions, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team at Clara Maass Medical Center, a 450-bed community hospital in Belleville, NJ. As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage, working closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to maintain a strong working knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process.
The successful candidate will be well-versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification, and will participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives. You will also serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in group education classes, committees, and community outreach events as needed.
We are looking for candidates who have a Registered Dietitian credential and interest in both inpatient and outpatient nutrition, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs. What We OfferSodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training.
Qualifications & RequirementsWe require a Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24, a Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) is also acceptable.
We also require meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice is also necessary.
