University Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY area. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collect and record vital information from new residents, including health details and medication administration.
- Administer medications and injections as needed, ensuring accurate dosages and patient safety.
- Treat and dress wounds and bedsores, promoting optimal healing and comfort.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and provide guidance on patient care.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor food and liquid intake and output, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
**Requirements:**
- Valid LPN State license and good standing with the State Registry.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, communicating with colleagues and residents.
