Job Summary:

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician or Histotech to join our team on a permanent and full-time basis. This is a day shift position with some flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex histological procedures and techniques, including grossing, cutting, staining, drying, and freezing, as well as preparing tissue specimens for routine and special procedures.
  • Work in a state-of-the-art laboratory that utilizes innovative technologies and techniques to provide consistent and accurate results.
  • Contribute to patient safety efforts through a bar code system that tracks specimens as they move through the lab, reducing the risk of errors.

Requirements:

  • HT or HTL ASCP Certification
  • Associate's Degree in Histology or a related field
  • Florida License preferred but not required
  • Previous MOHS experience preferred
