POSITION OVERVIEW
Sauk Prairie Healthcare operates a 36-bed, not-for-profit acute care facility along with two surgical specialty practices and four primary care clinics. Our Emergency Department is designated as a Level III Trauma Center equipped with 10 treatment bays, catering to over 40,000 individuals in our community.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, provide treatment, and refer patients to other qualified medical professionals as necessary.
- Support medical personnel during critical emergency situations occurring on-site.
- Oversee and collaborate with advanced practice clinicians.
EDUCATION
- Required: MD
- Preferred: Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Required: Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care environment.
- Preferred: Training in Emergency Medicine.
- Required: Valid State of Wisconsin Physician license and DEA Registration.
- Preferred: None
- Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications.
- Preferred: None
