Position Summary:
We are in search of a Material Processing Specialist / Cutting Machine Operator to efficiently prepare metal stock for our production activities. This role is designated for the B-Shift, operating from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

Training:
Initial training will occur during our A-Shift (Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) for a minimum duration of 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties: The following tasks are typically performed in this role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

  1. Safely provide production teams with the necessary materials and packaging in a timely manner.
  2. Accurately set up and cut materials using designated equipment efficiently.
  3. Organize all containers and stock within their appropriate designated areas.
  4. Conduct data collection and communication tasks using Job Boss and other relevant applications.
  5. Perform routine maintenance on assigned machinery.
  6. Identify and resolve equipment issues effectively.
  7. Carry out de-burring or reworking of in-process materials.
  8. Safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading trucks and relocating materials within the facility.
  9. Maintain the work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  10. Execute all tasks in compliance with PAC safety protocols.
  11. Adhere to all PAC policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

Suggested Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of one year of relevant experience in essential duties, including the operation of production machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
  2. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail regarding material specifications and production control systems.
  3. Proficiency in using standard measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
  4. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  5. Ability to read blueprints to GD&T standards.
  6. Basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications.
  7. Capability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations.
  8. Possession of an unrestricted driver's license.
  9. Eligibility for a Powered Industrial Truck Permit.
