The Nanny League, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Live-In Nanny and Household Manager to join our team in Montclair. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household management services to our family of four.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional childcare to our four daughters, ages almost 7, almost 5, 2.5 years, and 7 months, including homework assistance and light educational activities.
- Manage the household, including laundry, light cleaning, organizing shared spaces, and keeping up with day-to-day tasks between visits from our regular housekeeper.
- Assist with meal preparation, including cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the family.
- Provide light pet care for our French Bulldog.
- Develop and maintain a safe and engaging environment for our children, including planning fun activities and outings.
- Communicate effectively with our family members, including our children, to ensure a smooth and harmonious household.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive family information.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- At least two years of experience in childcare and household management.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed).
- Ability to make a one-year commitment (unless applying for a temporary position).
- Passion for working with children.
- Excellent work and personal references.
- U.S. driver's license (not applicable to NYC residents).
- Complete Stop the Silence Training upon membership.
- Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus.
- Competent swimmer.
- Non-smoker.
- Willing to undergo an extensive background check.
- Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident.
- Willingness to show proof of immunizations.
- No-cell phone driving signed guarantee.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple young children. The family's home is located in a vibrant, walkable neighborhood with easy access to the train into New York City. The area offers plenty of stimulation for both the nanny and children, including parks, restaurants, coffee shops, and cultural activities.
