We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Progressive Care Float Pool at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality, efficient care to patients in our medical-surgical & telemetry/progressive care environments.
ResponsibilitiesYou will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care level patients. Your responsibilities will include instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintaining and reviewing patients' records, and administering medications in accordance with physician orders.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. You should have a nursing diploma or ASN, with a BSN preferred. Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred, and you must have current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications. You should also have critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
