Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Checkered Flag Motor Car Co Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Review orders and ensure that the correct vehicle components have been ordered.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for repair orders and invoices.
  • Communicate with managers regarding out-of-stock vehicle parts.
  • Follow up on backordered vehicle components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Notify necessary service employees when vehicle parts have arrived.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
  • Ability to walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience with CDK or similar software is preferred but not necessary.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to learn and cross-train for future growth opportunities.
  • Valid driver's license with 4 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years.
