Housekeeping Specialist

Lambs Farm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our participants, staff, and visitors.

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of assigned buildings, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
• Supervise and train participants in cleaning and sanitation procedures, emphasizing chemical safety and safe working practices.
• Operate and maintain mechanical cleaning equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage and enforce emergency safety procedures and housekeeping manuals.
• Inspect areas for repairs, generate work orders, and test light bulbs, exit signs, and emergency lights.
• Attend safety and training meetings as directed.
• Complete required annual training.
• Support special events by working additional days or hours as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related janitorial work experience.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Experience working with developmentally disabled adults is a plus.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Completion of mandatory training within 120 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license with no violations in the past year.
• Physical capability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and walking, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Basic computer skills: accurate typing, navigating websites, entering and recalling data, using word processors and spreadsheet software, managing emails, and familiarity with digital communication etiquette and techniques.
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
