About the Job

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Medford, Oregon.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including PET/CT scanners and gamma cameras.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent patient care and education to ensure patient comfort and understanding of imaging procedures.

Requirements:

  • ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • 2+ years of experience in nuclear medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
