Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for examining, evaluating, and developing treatment plans for patients with functional limitations and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Implement and re-evaluate treatment plans to ensure patient progress and adjust as needed.
  • Document patient treatment and progress accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices to provide high-quality care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Michigan State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
