Cashier and Service Associate

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a skilled Cashier and Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and policies.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
