About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Soccer Coach to join our team at Super Soccer Stars. As a Coach, you will be responsible for leading fun and educational soccer activities for children of all ages, while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist/Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child, help them to accomplish motor development and skill goals, and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in an organized, structured, and FUN manner.
  • Provide individual and group attention to children.
  • Show up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (includes commuting time).
  • For ALL age groups, you have to be able to mentally be at a level where the child needs you to be and make soccer FUN for them.

Non-Coaching Duties & Responsibilities as needed:

  • Equipment: Assist with the distribution and upkeep of equipment needed.
  • Hiring: Assist the hiring manager with sourcing and screening potential candidates.
  • Marketing/Branding: Manage the ordering, printing, and distribution of flyers, posters, and signage.
  • Observations: Recording classes for coach development video feedback.

Requirements:

  • Able and willing to travel throughout Putnam County to class locations.
  • Availability must include weekday mornings (9a-12p), weekday afternoon (12p-3p), and/or early evenings (3p-6p).
  • Prior experience working with children is PREFERRED.
  • Soccer playing background is PREFERRED.
  • Must be FUN, ENERGETIC, PATIENT, ATTENTIVE, and PUNCTUAL.

The Schedule:

The majority of classes are held during the early mornings and after school hours during weekdays and throughout the day on weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below:

Monday-Friday (Times): 9:00am-12:00pm

Monday-Friday (Times): 3:00pm-6:00pm

Weekends: (Times) 8:00am-1:00pm
