About the Role

Chart Industries is seeking a skilled Structural Mig Welder to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will play a critical role in the production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cranes, hand tools, and forklifts to facilitate the manufacturing process.
  • Weld structural materials using established manufacturing processes with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the cleanliness of assigned work areas.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs.
  • Assist new welders in learning welding skills and complete company-provided training to effectively perform job responsibilities.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and policies, and complete other work as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a 3G structural welding test.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
  • Proficient in welding best practices.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and perform frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking, and occasional crawling.
  • Ability to work up to 6 days a week for 12 hours a day.
  • Ability to adhere to company standards and values, attendance standards, and meet deadlines for assignments.
