We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Avera Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Job Summary:
- Assume responsibility for providing primary care and medical management of patients in our clinic and/or hospital settings under the direction and supervision of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice as a Nurse Practitioner under the rules and regulations of the Nurse Practice Act in the state where you work.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Masters or doctorate degree required.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Active CNP license required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- Federal and state DEA certification required for South Dakota and Iowa employees.
- Federal DEA certification only required for Minnesota and Nebraska employees.
Work Schedule:
- Varied hours.
- 72 hours per 2 weeks.
About Our NICU:
Avera's 42-bed, neonatal intensive care unit at Avera Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, meets American Academy of Pediatrics criteria as a Level IIIB NICU.
