Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

At NavitsPartners, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in nuclear medicine and hold current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, as well as BLS certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Perform nuclear imaging procedures, including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac studies, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring it is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to radiation exposure and handling of radioactive materials.
  • Process and analyze imaging data, working closely with radiologists and physicians for accurate diagnosis.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in nuclear medicine - Required.
  • Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification - Required.
  • BLS certification - Required.
  • Familiarity with nuclear medicine imaging systems - Required.
  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license for the state of New Hampshire - Required.
