Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting procedures and tests using CT equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history
  • Conduct CT scans and manipulate images according to protocols
  • Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocols
  • Transfer images to PACS and verify accuracy
  • Perform other duties as required, including precepting new employees and students
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
  • Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment
  • Current competency in HCP BLS
Work Environment

This is a per diem position working nights. The work schedule is variable, and the standard hours per week are 4.00. The location of the job is in Clayton, NC.
