Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.
  • Deliver safe and effective care and interact with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
