Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team in Glendale, Arizona. As a member of the interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care for young children with autism and their families.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist at Soar Autism Center, your primary responsibility will be to plan and implement naturalistic occupational therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting. You will develop interventions to support client gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (ABA, speech, psychology).
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Coach and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families.
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice occupational therapy. A minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
