Responsibilities- Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
- Perform scrub functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies.
- Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition.
- Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing.
- Certification: Advanced Life Support or Basic Life Support, depending on the role.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure.
