The University of Kentucky is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to perform non-invasive vascular exams in accordance with established guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic testing utilizing appropriate equipment
- Select equipment components to perform testing safely and accurately
- Obtain and calculate data for accurate clinical reports
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree from a Radiology Technology or Sonography program and be registered as a Vascular Technologist or Sonographer. The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull pounds on a daily basis, as well as stand, walk, and sit for long periods, is required.
Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with weekend and holiday rotation required. The University of Kentucky is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
