Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for brewing coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a polite and positive manner, take beverage orders, and identify items and corresponding costs.
  • Prepare and deliver drinks to customers, issue receipts, refunds, credit, or change due to customers accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, stock and maintain supplies, and serve other items as per unit guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, actively look for ways to assist customers and coworkers, and communicate effectively with management.
Requirements
  • Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Strong sanitation habits, mathematical skills, and ability to recognize and communicate problems to management.
  • Ability to stand for the entire work day, lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly, and withstand temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in, and grill areas.
  • Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
