Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team at Medix. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing various clinical duties. This role involves a combination of in-clinic and in-home patient care services, utilizing advanced technology and equipment.

Key Clinical Duties:
  • Perform point-of-care tests, including blood drop and nasal swab samples
  • Conduct blood draws for lab tests, requiring IV/Blood Draw certifications
  • Perform EKGs and administer proctored eye exams using specialized devices
  • Carry out eye dilations and provide non-complex wound care
  • Take vital signs and monitor patient health, conduct health screenings, and apply fluoride varnish treatments
  • Facilitate video visits with providers to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Active LVN license
  • IV Certification with proven experience
  • Active CA Driver's License with 2+ years of driving experience and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds to move equipment such as EKG machines
Additional Qualifications:
  • Familiarity and comfort working within the designated community
  • Ability to enter patient homes and provide care in a home-based setting
  • Proficient in using mobile healthcare technology, such as mobile EKG machines
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 40 pounds)
